Communications All-Rounder

House of Kitch are storytellers who go to the outer edges of space, deep under the ocean, and into the roaring crowds of sporting stadiums to inspire and motivate. We’re looking for an experienced, passionate, go-getting communications all-rounder to support our growing team as we reach for the stars!
We’re looking for a Sydney-based Communications All-Rounder to contribute across a broad client portfolio to support and execute strategic communications that will engage, educate and inspire. This opportunity is open to candidates seeking either full time or part time work.
In this interesting and varied client-facing role, you’ll:

Execute public relations briefs and media engagement as required and report on media outcomes.

Research subjects and craft briefs, talking points, releases, stories and newsletters.

Design graphic products and collaborate with content producers.

Develop communication executions, project plans, monitoring, and reporting.

Manage video shoots, conduct interviews, craft scripts and develop video products.

Be a key contributor in the House of Kitch team and provide excellent support to and collaboration with other team members.

Translate technical concepts into compelling stories and communication products (articles, videos, design projects, multimedia, etc.)

Provide proofing and copy-editing support to the team as needed.

Engage with stakeholders and liaise with clients,.

Excellent attention to detail with strengths in media, research, copywriting, editing and proofreading.

A natural-born content creator who thrives on connecting with people, collaborating with partners and crafting stories that uplift and inspire.

A juggler who can effectively manage multiple stakeholder priorities.

Must have a keen interest in technology and innovation.

5-8+ years communication experience in a relavent industry i.e. media, agency, consulting, in-house and/or government.

Previous experience working in a government and/or defence organisation and a current security clearance would be highly regarded.
